    bidding ;10:19 AM
This has been the easiest bidding rounds I have gone through ever since I embarked on my UNI life.
At the start of every semester we have to bid for our modules ma. School claims that it helps us to take responsibility for our actions and force us to make decisions similar to the decisions we would be making in future bla bla bla... The only fun part is that it makes me feel as if I'm playing shares in the stock market except that I'm not using money and I get to appeal for my modules if I go bankrupt aka get outbidded for every module. We're given points each semester to 'play' with. This sem I was allocated 4 modules! I ended up dropping 1 because it wasn't what I want. But it means that I only have to bid for 1 module. weehee! I have not seen the cors website (where we bid for modules) for ages and I'm pretty happy not having to see it! hahahax

Bidding is 'forcing' us to think about what we want to do in life next time. What we do in tertiary education has the greatest impact on our future career path. Sometimes I just wish that I wasn't so fickle minded. lolx

I'm in the midst of writing my social work report & ...
    I can't believe this.
I actually miss writing my school reports. Those lengthy reports that involves lots of crapping, attempts to link theory into the report in a way that makes sense, the major satisfaction when you finish the whole report.
    I think I'm crazy.
I think I miss school too much. But I bet I'll be complaining about school when the term starts. lolx
the bottomline? studying is definately better than working.

    personality tests ;12:31 AM

You truly believe in friendship. You get along well with others, and those who are around you are happy to be with you, too. You love to be surrounded by friends and you'll do anything you can to help them without expecting anything in return. When your friends are smiling, you're as happy as you can be. (how do i change the font size ar??)

You are incredibly sentimental and live your life for love. This can get you into financial trouble at times, as you don't always fall for the right kind of partner.

The decisions you have made indicates your criteria in choosing your soulmate.
More important matters come first on the list below:
    1. Education
    2. Money
    3. Love
    4. Appearance
You look interesting to a "playboy" who enjoys a lavish lifestyle but never keeps his word.

It is difficult for you to get deeply involved with someone. Most of your relationships border on being more than friends but less than being lovers.

Do you have a chance with the one you love?

You have had chances but you let them go without taking any risks.

In any case, if you don't make any efforts to meet people, no relationship is going to get started.

The first qualification that you want from your partner is:

Personality: a person with a kind and good character will always attract you.

    It's about your spending habit:

Your spending pattern is always in sync with your imcome. You know what and how to spend.

If you like to wear your basic blue jeans, not tight, baggy, decorated or whatever, you are content with your current status and life style. You normally wear jeans only when it's appropriate to do so. Sounds like a real gentleman or lady doesn't it?

You are not much attractive to the opposite sex. However, you still have something so special, which makes them like to get along with you.

You are an honest person and have a unique way of seeing things. Your friends see you as a quite friendly person.

When it comes to finding a romantic partner, you don't have any particular type in mind, but are inclined to look for someone who is likely to say "yes" if you ask them out.

You are quite methodical and punctilious. You have few problems adapting to the rules of society.

    1. A kind of person you will be attracted to in a real life situation is obedient and warm.
    2. In the process of courtship, the approach that makes you feel irresistible is being creative, so you're not bored.
    3. The impression you'd like to give to your lover is loyal and faithful.
    4. One reason that would make you break up with your partner is his or her being emotional. If they're moody, you won't know how to please them.
    5. The kind of relationship you'd like to build with your partner is a traditional one, where you communicate with your hearts.
    6. Would you commit adultery? Society and morality worry you. You wouldn't do anything wrong after marriage.
    7. About marriage, you are afraid of marriage. You think it would take away your freedom.
    8. About love, at this moment, you are quite self-centered. You think of love as something you can get and trash anytime you want

When you are at the zoo, you are surrounded by caged creatures that you can't talk with, and which can't communicate with you. This fact subconsciously governs the way you act. It is very similar to how you act in human society as well. In other words, your actions reveal the hidden side of your personality.

It would be very difficult for you to fall in love with someone. But when you love, honesty is your first priority. You are an emotional person.

The most favorite pet of all time is definitely the dog. Having a pet dog suggests that you are a friendly person who likes talking to people. You are outspoken and don't have any secrets or bias opinions. People like to be around you because you are sincere and loving. You don't like to say anything to hurt other people's feelings.

You are a fun-seeking, adventurous, risk-taking, spontaneous person. You are not very rational. You're a socialite. You go out to a party frequently and hang around with lots of people. You're very enthusiastic, ambitious and love challenges.

You have confidence in your ability to get things done. You are a leader among friends, and a good one too. You are responsible and like to challenge yourself by taking up difficult tasks--and you usually succeed. (this is sure fake 1 la. haha)

    Nosy Level: 100%

You have a wild and crazy imagination, and this can lead you to being very nosy as you strive to check out whether your theories are true. You get very occupied with your own thoughts and create fantastic stories out of the things that you think are happening in people's lives. It might be a good idea to concentrate more on your own life. (wah!! 100%!! where got right! haha)

ok.. this is getting too long. many more test to take! you can take them at http://www.quizbox.com/personality/test3.aspx
    enjoy! haha

i should not be typing this post! ;12:33 AM
    12.45am
    Ok I give up...

I told myself NOT to come online today.
    Temptation won over!
Got to study my FTT & do my attachment portfolio.
    I should not be here

Anyway I watch the 10pm show on channel U - The Perfect cut! today's ep was superrrrrrr nice!!!
and sweet!! xiao li & Sky (weehee!!)

Anyway.. I went back to school today. It feels really really nice to be back in school dressed like a student!
And I realized that I actually miss taking bus 74 home.. It was pretty much like a journey down memory lane. I thought of the different things that happened on the bus. The different people I talked to, and what we talked about.

Went to the PSA building for lunch today. Met up with hwee hong, xinni and sharon. Hweehong actually takes about 1 hour to work everyday! *claps hand*
Then went to school to meet up with yixian. Handed our time sheet and GIRO form in.
Had a longggg dinner with yixian and crapped a lot with her.
Went home, watch tv and promised myself oh no.. is currently still promising myself to start on my attachment portfolio soon. Then called 救兵 for my FTT. Then came here to blog and then continue promising to start my portfolio soon.

I feel as if I'm talking rubbish. hahax

    Over back to the books!

    I hate reports ;4:23 AM
    I hate hate hate reports.
Reports are so so so not my thing especially when I have no absolutely no idea what to write. *Arghs*
I have a 13 page post-attachment report to write and I have not thought of what I'm going to write! help ar!!!

    ohya...
I went to flip through the folder I have to hand in in 2 weeks time. *groans* There are things that I should have typed during attachment. Instead I scribbled things like my reflection of evaluation session with supervisor etc... all over the place. I can't blame anyone for this right. Now I have to type them all over again. *arghh* But the lucky thing is that it's mostly transforming my scribbling into nicely typed readable words.

    &...
I have to make my way back to school twice before school starts. Once to hand up the GIRO form and timesheet (because the deadline for it is 28 july)
the second time to hand up my post-attachemnt report (because the deadline is on 4th august but i'll never be able to finish my report by the 28th) so... 2 trips. faint!
shouldn't there just be 1 deadline?

I just finished Private practice. Super niceee show! Certain episodes are super touching also!
I am running out (or have run out) of shows to watch! introduce me something nice to watch ok??? hehex. I just spent the whole of today watching and watching and watching. ohya. i think i really slept for 12 hours today. It's 4.30 am in the morning. My body is tired, but my mind is wide awake. I guess that's e consequences of sleeping too much. lolx. better go back to 10 hours per day.

end of attachment! yay! ;4:29 PM
Today was the slackiest day I ever had at work. I practically spend the whole morning clearing out my desk. And auntie and a few of my other colleagues made a bigggg feast for us!Baked rice, pasta and fruits. I took half day off today with my friend. really had a blast today!

The other intern (stella) was superrr sweet! she actually gave me a chocolate. she's really a very very sweet person!!! but i should have gotten her something also for all her help and stuff... I'm glad that I came to know her during attachment. She really helped me out many times and was my listening ear when I needed to complain about clients or what was happening in my life (ps. i don't know how i turned this into a link. don't know what i pressed also..)

stella wrapped all these herself. li hai eh~

    what stella gave me

Baked rice. doesn't look very nice from here but it is greatttttttt!!

Looking back on the past 10 weeks, I have changed and grown (both physically and mentally lolx) I have seen another side of singapore that I have bever been exposed to. A different side of society that is rarely shown to others. I am glad and feeling superrr relaxed that attachment is over. But I do miss that place. I may be volunteering my services for a day or 2 in dec.. so I may just see them again! haha

    ohya.
end of attachment means it's time for net to go on a diet
the only bad part of attachment is the food. we have too much snacks in between! hahaha

    Things to do after attachment:
    -do post-attachment report
    -get my PDL
    -finish ugly betty
    -sleep 12 hours a day
-look for a temp job $$$$$

THE ULTIMATE KUKUNESS OF THE DAY
I normally have to tape my sessions. so the proccdure is.
1). on the recording device in the next room
2). turn on the mike and the camera in the room that you're using

    And guess what I did??!!

I turned on the recording device in the next room and forgot all about the mike & the camera in my room!!
And after the session I still wanted to go and turn off the mike and camera. and..
that was when I realised that THEY WERE NOT EVEN ON IN THE FIRST PLACE!

But the good thing was that I brought in my mp3 to record just in case anything happens (mike halfwaay no batt, camera spoil etc etc)
it isn't as clear, but guess it'll have to do...
and this session was going to be used by mu sup for evaluation purposes somemore!!!! faint!

    *edit*
    Phew~
Lucky my sup didn't scold me or what and was willing to take the MP3 version instead.
When I think back on my work.. things liek this taht are not supposed to happen have happened countless times. and maybe it's time to worry about how I am going to handle work in future ba.

    week 10 ;11:07 PM
It is finally finally week 10 of attachment, and I just realised that I made the biggest mistake throughout my whole attachment yesterday.
Good thing was that my 2nd sup was forgiving.
But I still don't feel good about it.

Because I neglected to photocopy certain things, there were things that we were supposed to follow up but couldn't. week 10 tentatively being my last means that the case will go back to my sup and that she will have to clear whatever mess I started or should have cleared. haix.. sorry .... 对不起对不起。。。
    can kukuness be treated???

1 thing I realised about attachment is that attachment is really very different from school. During attachment you do not walk in like an empty sponge just waiting to absorb whatever there is to learn. But your colleagues, sup and boss would have certain expectations of you. There are things that you're expected to know.

It also isn't easier having to use your own discretion to gauge what decisions you are able to make on your own and what decisions are important enough to require you to seek consultation. Working life isn't easier. But I guess it involves a lifetime of learning. We all grow through our experiences be it good or bad experiences. i believe that I have grown somehow in this attachment. Moving out of your comfort zone is definitely not easy and I have definitely been exposed to parts of society that I have never been exposed to. That has made me treasure what I have now but it is also saddening at times to see sad things that are out of your control unfolding in front of you.

it's time for a break soon =) (not that I haven enjoyed attachment generally)

    nitex ppl~~

    sudden thoughts ;12:54 PM
I thought what ah yun said last night was quite right... aiyo...
while i'm sitting here at home, there may be someone facing a very big problem out there.haix

I am at the peak of the episode and it is stuck because it is buffering! arghh

I am really really looking forward to the end of attachment! yay! a good rest! =)=)=)

I absolutely do not have the mood for writing my reports.

I just want to enjoy and not think too much

I see the poverty cycle occuring at work... the process by which i'm too lazy to type.

I feel like eating baked beans. weird me. wahhaha

    Politics, Politics politics..

i really shouldn't bring back reports to do, it affects what i am thinking about (thta's just my excuse for being lazy =x)

I'm so so so so addicted to 命中注定我爱你!! nvm.. the next episode's airing tomorrow!

    the food!

    their expressions hahax

potato skins with cheese. High in calorie!

Went for 2nd round of eng seng's celebration.
    Ate till I nearly burst.
    Somebody's game la!
But I have won the rights to decide whether to play it anot!
    wahhaha
But it's a good way not to waste food. lolx
I should try it out on other people too. ahhax

    Work:
I've been meeting all sorts of people.
Some clients make you want to go all out to help them and you start wondering why fate is so cruel to them
some you think they are bringing problems upon themselves, but you have no right to stop. But then again who am I to judge how they want to live their life.
and lastly those that I really do not understand what they are thinking.
I'm kinda glad that attachment is ending. But I'll miss the place also!

    On to something happier.
    today is Auntie's birthday!
Auntie is a very very very important person in my workplace.
She buys our lunch, cleans and practically knows where everything is kept!
People have wonder woman we have wonder auntie! hahax

    sian edited ;9:14 AM
sometimes i really do wonder when will net ever stop being forgetful, kuku and so on... or is it never???

First, I forgot to turn off the camera and maybe the mike also after a session. Because my session was the last for the day, the battery went flat from being turned on overnight.
Then was once where I'm so preoccupied with zapping the more important stuff such as bills etc for clients that I forget to zap the most basic stuff- their NRIC. in the end the clients had to come down again.

what sparked off my current spate of emotions:
today.. I cannot find the cable for my mp3 player. and it is barely above 1 year old!! ARGHHH
I normally bring the cable to work to transfer files from my laptop to the office comp for printing.
looks like i have to attach everything to email when i want to print them now.
there are times where I do up my report nicely and then cannot find them in the file.. I don't know if I forgot to file the reports in or what..But by right I have always been filing my reports as they come. And such a thing has happened twice already!!!!

It really seems that my character is affecting my work. For the reports I was lucky because I was able to do a reprint because I had not deleted the files. But imagine if I lose an important document...... No matter how high I try to climb in terms of educational level, my certs will not be able to help me.

I hope i find the cable at home or something. *prays*

    *edited*
i amaze myself at times with the things I do..
not plugging the mouse into the comp and expecting the mouse to move.
but my poor colleagues a work get it worse.
i thought i lost a tape today and my friend being very nice helped me to look high and low for it. end up?? it was in one of the rooms i was using ytd. =_= rite.
    *sighs in desperation*

    2nd edit*
    I FOUND MY CABLE!! YAY!!!

the concept of pain ;9:40 PM
    something to chew about...

My sup passed us a book today.
    called the Gift of Pain.
    a Christian book

Pain is actually an alarm system, a warning.
when we fall, pain is a warning to us that we are bleeding.
when we hit something, pains sets the limits as to if we have hit the thing with too much strength.
I've never thought of pain in that way... interesting...

But it's a different story when one really experiences pain ba...

ps. i don't know if i'm making sense up there. too sleepy to think lol.
