Sometimes I just feel like shouting everything at her, but I got to think of the consequences before shooting my mouth off.
If I'm not sure of what is going to happen, I guess I shouldn't be making any move.
But I kind of feel that she is responsible for certain things that are happening and she obviously doesn't know. And this is when I feel like screaming at her.
I really need to complain!! I am studying for my last paper. last last paper but it's teh most difficult paper to study for ARGHHHHHHHHHI really want to pull all my hair out already! haha
What child rights, the penal code on children, the Children and young person's act, the UNCRC convention, role of social workers, Singapore policies on children. I am soooo dead.. How to remember ar?????? SOMEBODY SAVE MEEEEE!!!!!!1
and I was just telling xinni about the irritating penal code. soemthing that can be described in 1 word, they don't but they go and describe in 1 phrase then make e whole thing so long. faint. ok.. maybe they want to define that word through teh phrase... but this is killing my brain cells!!!
Then there is this huge amount of procedures and policies to remember. What to do when child abuse occurs, or what policies there are when a child commits a crime, and what policies there are to safeguard teh child's interest in the event of a crime bla bla bla.. How did singapore manage to come out with so many things?!!!!
(although I do admit these policies should have their purposes esp when it involves the cooperation of so many different organisations , but my brain cells cannot make it alreadyyyyy haha)
This module is driving me crazy!! how i wish it was open book.. so many things to rmb.. arghhhhhhhhh

ohya.. my counseling paper right.. End up so many things didn't come out!! Even the most seemingly important CBT didn't come out! and CBT is worth nearly 2 chapters in this entire module. How could it not have been tested?!!! arghhhhhhh cheat our feelings lei.. hahah If I know I shouldn't have studied so hard for that paper! and the questions that came out were totally out of the world. It was more of application questions rather than theory which net is so bad in and hence so dead. Can't believe how much I crapped and I think that was the shortest essay I ever wrote for exams this year. Totally nothing to write 1!!

I hate this period of exams. It's teh worse part! When you're sick and tired of studying, but apparently exams isn't over so you can't stop. Burn-out le laaaaaaaaaa!!!!!! haha2 more papers 2 more papers!

I just kind of dread and anticipate the last paper.

exam format: 1 case study, 1 essay and 1 explain the meaning question. which means she gives you the term and you explain the meaning. I hate this the most because it means that you really have to go into detail while studying while I don't think I have time for. I only started on 2 chapters for that module.

while doing my med social work paper I was just thinking about this. we got a question on spouse abuse.
did you know that you cannot force an abused wife to take a PPO (Personal Protection Order) against the abusive husband or whoever? I was like what?!!!!!! What if she goes back and get beaten to death or what... SW can only persuade. Which means she may not even lodge a report with teh police and the abuser may not even get prosecuted??? ok.. maybe there is still something that I haven learnt about...???

nerve wreking days ;3:33 PM
I just had 2 nerve wrecking days consecutively.
first was the one in circuit. the over hump, don't hit pole, remove pole,go over hump, put back pole reverse over hump don't hit pole. faint! wasn't fun to be as if I was a frog! haha
next was this morning's paper. I came to school super early only to be nearly late. faint. is it my sense of direction or is it just Nus's fault? =x hahah anyway I had a super hard time looking for the classroom venue! lucky I dailed emergency 911 to xinying and she offered to wait for me outside our lecture classroom but i told her not to because it was nearly 9. And guess what??? The dreaded exam classroom was just 1 floor below my lecture classsroom and I spent close to 15 mins looking for it at another corner of the block! I should have checked the Nus map before going to school. End up I went into the exam hall with a flustered but -trying-not-to-look-flustered look. *phew was just on the dot. before that I was already imagining having to retake the module. haven't felt such panic in a long time and I don't hope to feel it again!
but the paper was incredibly kan chieong. couldn't finish at all! but from the looks of it I wasn't the only one. now only can hope that the bell curve will save me.

21st nov:
went to bugis to shop for yun's prex with xinni and she passed me the remaining of my prex -> a pink tong! FAINT hahha because exams were coming we ended up in mac studying and ate. OMG all e food I ate recently. lucky I'm meeting yun for badminton later. I can practically feel my face expanding! arhhh Anyway we ended up in Topone KTV! haven't sang with the APSS gang for sooo long! hahah but they paid quite a lot for it. superrr ex. thanks guys! haha
it's kinda funny that I don't feel much different being a 21. I thought I would have felt somehow different. But... kinda the same. ohno.. does that mean I have not matured at all?! Why Why Why can't we have birthdays without growing old???
and yay net has new clothes again. one of my prex from APSS was a dress.

ok.. I know that I'm so dead. Shall start studying in 10 mins with a huge pot of coffee. I just finished 唐心风暴2之家好月圆. I skipped a lot of parts. Compared to the previous I really liked the ending for this one. Even the evil baddie turned good. Sometimes it's kind of comforting to know that people no matter how bad can be good. But I thought some parts of the show were a bit too good to be true. I shall not give spoilers here. hahaBut I got quite a few insights about life from the show.
1). things can be forgotten no matter how hard
2). people do change (baddie to goodie, goodie to baddie)
3). family stays together no matter what
Now that the show's over, time to turn my attention from some fictual life to my own life.

01122008 = my last day of exam!
no mood to study, decided to blog instead...
after the horrible CAP lat sem, I have been putting in a lot more effort in studying than last sem. hahaha. Have been poking my face into the books nearly everyday! and ever since I stepped into uni, since when have I started studying so hard so early?! (ok.. maybe it's not early.. only 2 weeks away from exam!!)
and why am I here when i'm supposed to be disturbing my books now?!!!

ohya.. ponned MSW lecture today. went to look at the number of slides afterwards. FAINT! 69 slides!!! i thought 48 slides for a normal 1.5 hr lecture is a lot already. I thought it was the last today... yuan lai the last is next week. grace was like u pon until u don't know which is the last lect already lo. hahah xinying is going to drag me for lect next fri if she doesn't oversleep. hope they give exam tips next week! hahah

I'm starting to believe that time passes slower when you're less busy. haha. now i've got so much time to blog. ok.. i'm supposed to be a bitt less busy, because i'm supposed to be using my free time from preparing for presentations for studying which I AM NOT. *bangs wall* LYNETTE HU START STUDYING!
ok.. finally met up with xinni and HH today. and clarence (hh's hubby!) hahah. just realised how long we haven met up as a group. haha although was just a short lunch but it was fun. all the crap. xinni was kinda sick today. she kept coughing and evil me even offered to give her a HARD pat on her back. which of course end up I didn't la! haha. dun wnana pay for her hosp bills. =x we crapped over lunch and i was trying so hard to convince xn & hh to buy me milk tea when they're in sch! it's really good!! aiya..NP not very far from SIM la hor.. hahahh =X ok..is quite far..(n obviously they didn't get convinced by me. lolx hahha) and i realised what a crazy group of shoppers we are. We could even go on a mini spree in ) and i realised to day what a group of crazy shoppers we are! we could even go on a shopping spree in Co-op ( a stationary bookstore!) even if it is a new shop to me, it doesn;t warrant a spree right?! hahah ok.. i went on a pen spree. and i had to really break my own heart to stop myself from buying those extra pens. hahah but their Co-op sells a lottt of food!!!! omg lo!! food sale!! weeeeeeeheeeeee. but i didn't buy =_=""" i'm supposed to be on my diet(which isn't working so well by the way) hahahah
lucky xinni didn't get get lost today, although i seriously doubted if she knew they way when she brought us to that ulu slope. wahahha (xinni will kill me now! )
ok.. i better clarify before she kills me, xinni does know her way around!
too bad i don't have any more tutorials on mondays where we can meet... haix only got to meet them for lunch twice this sem.. sian.. haha
I am such an idoit!!! when i did my essay i don't go and do the referencing properly, and now I'm trying to find back all my references. peng... now i'm having a hard time finding those references back.....
and i went jogging for 3 mins today,.. faint.. !! i shall increase the timing slowly... yepp!!!!
