things are starting to get hectic at school. and my fats seem determined to stay ! arghhh
the bahasa melayu class was S-C-A-R-Y. really nerve wrecking to have to converse in malay in front of the whole class. But it was rather funny at times and I did contribute to the reason why everyone was laughing. LOLx

this coming FRIDAY is the street sales for the yellow ribbons for the yellow ribbon project. So if u meet someone who is selling u yellow ribbons do buy ok! haha I'll will be going down to help sell the ribbons also! weee

Wear-A-Yellow- Ribbon (Entire Month of Sep)
The simple act of wearing the Yellow Ribbon is an active display of the community’s support for offering second chances and acceptance for ex-offenders. Each Yellow Ribbon is handmade by an inmate and it symbolises his/her hope for forgiveness and acceptance. In the inaugural year, over 320,000 yellow ribbons were distributed island-wide. This year, we hope to widen our reach and distribute at least 340,000 yellow ribbons.

ho ho ho
just ended my week 2 with a bout of studying. was studying for mohanty's module again! really really killed my braincells. But I kinda realised that studying for research wasn't that boring. The textbook actually brought up quite interesting stuff. But I sure am not looking forward to doing the research project even if it just involves writing the proposal.. But studying for malay was kinda fun, except that I still cna't seem to grasp the grammer concepts. but i really appreciated the foodie trip after that. sort of revived my brain cells for the soci module I have (erm.. no.. must) go through later on. haixxx
but i kinda realised what a world of difference it makes studying something that you enjoy and something taht you have totally no interest in. whether time crawls or flys all depends on the subject sitting in front of me.. haixxx
ok! video time! because i forgot what i wanted to blog about already. haha my stupid brain needs to study!

sch has started!!!! ;1:04 AM
3rd day into school and everything has been going pretty much fine except that there are so many coursepacks/books to buy this semester! This is the 1st time that I feel that I haven't had a real break from the school holidays, but heya.. I truly enjoyed attachment and I think it dod helped me mature and see things in new perspectives. Also, despite attachment having ended for close to 3 weeks, that strong feelings I felt when working with that particular group of client still stays. There seems to be so much to explore, so much to work on.
Okay.. this semester, I decided to stop procrastinating and take the scary SW3101 social work research module! And I truly do hate research! But I guess attachment helped me to see one thing. I might hate research but I do have to accept that it is an integral part of my work and an integral part of social work. How else do we progress without research? Hence I am going to work very hard for this module despite how much I know I will hate writing the lengthy reports and going through the seemingly endless literature reviews. Attachment did teach me one thing. I may not like every single aspect of my work, but not liking it does not mean that it is not important. I guess if this were the me before I stepped into attachment, I wouldn't have the drive to study for sw3101 because I wouldn't have seen the point of doing something that I would never want to touch when I step into the field in future. Haix, research is unavoidable. Even if I don't do it, I will have to read it in order to keep updated.
hope that school continues to go on smoothly! =)
ps. but yet i am experiencing such a feeling of uncertainty that i have never ever felt b4 in my 2 years of uni life. probably cux i'm taking many 'weird' modules this semester. really hope that i'll pull through this sem! have higher hopes for my attachment report this time too! hope it comes back in good shape. seriously good shape

The broken lock... This is what happens to the lock of the office door when people happen to get locked outside.
