I am super happy!!!!!!!!! happy and glad and relieved that my presentations are all over! Presentations are more stressful than exams!

I had the best and the worst presentation today. The best meaning the most pressure free and slack presentation. haha. The tutor wasn't around, so we could do anything we like and say anything we like. hahah that went pretty smoothly. haha.

but my sw3209 presentation was liek crap.. First I could tongue tied at least 2 or 3 times in a span of 2 mins. The later I somehow lost my direction and didn't know what I was talking about. faint! Guess partly was due to my lack of adequate preparation.. haix. sorry grp mates! and it was kind of pressurising when u're in a class of more senior social work majors who are expergts in their stuff.. But despite the disasterous presentation I'm glad that everything is over! can concentrate on my reports and studying!

ok.. some1 that I don't really know is asking me how to approach her ex/current crush.. i'm kinda the wrong person to approach for such advice.. lolx things can't get any weirder. haha

today is supposed to be my free day. but it doesn't seem like a free day at all. so many projects and presentations to prepare for. thankfully it'll be over by tomorrow. have 2 presentations tomorrow! ARHHHH projects i mean. afte rthat I can concentrate on writing my reports and being a bookworm.

ok. had the fastest presentation i ever had on tues. our allocated time was 20 mins. during rehearsal we took 35 mins. and it happened that we were the last tutorial last group. because teh projector had to be returned to teh SW office, we had to finish on time. in the end, i went through 8 slides in less than 2 minutes. my god. i skipped so much stuff that the 'clicker' had gone blur already. ahha. but going so fast helped to calm the nerves. haha. was super duper nervous before the presentation. sweaty palms and the shivering. wooooo. but I'M SO GALD IT'S OVER. and it wasn't as bad as I thought. but i got tongue-tied halfway and couldn't even pronounce the word 'social' properly.everyone laughed! OMG LA so paisei! hahahaha no la. but no hard feelings.

and why is everyone going off to HONG KONG! omg! i also wanna go!! but no $$$. hahah.

unknowingly it has been 2 months already. although i'm pretty sure it must be the longest 2 months he ever knew. i still want a miracle! I really want it! i think i have adjusted, but so what? it doesn't change anything, it doesn't change how he must be feeling. whatever i feel can subside because i do not have to face such torture everyday. i can adjust and adapt. but how do you adjust to facing toture everyday?

my msw lecturer once said

"we're losing something everyday, just that it is too small for us to notice hence we do not grieve over it"

chim huh.. maybe that's why they say ignorrance is bliss.

time just flies this week. stacked and piled with so much work. before I know it, nearly half the week is gone again. don't know about the rest, but time is flying for me. 16 weeks for a semester is far too short!!! my brain is now fried after so much typing for 1 project. got 2 more to do later. peng. see la. slack so much last weekend. this is retribution! haha

I WANT MY HOLS.

then again, better not. exams will all be coming up then.

phew. just finished 1 of my projs for 1 of my modules. my individual portion that is. also handed up 1 report yesterday. like weeheee!! 1 down! level 3 modules are really not easy! so much work until can vomit blood already. haha was like a walking zombie the whole of yesterday la. somehow i don't feel that i'm totally out of lala land. LOLx

ok. recently i came up with this new (ok maybe not new) schedule to finish up that mountain of projects and studying. wake up early in the morning, nap in the afternoon and slp at 1am at night. but i always end up watching shows or being somewhere else in the afternoon! seriously Eack of slp la!! arghhh ...

time to abort my new sleeping schdule. less than a week and it's already killing mi. my resposiveness is gettiing so slow until cannot make it, gave mr tan a scare with his car the other day. lolx not that i'm a fast thinker in my normal mode. Now it's worse than normal!

YAWN (ohya. did u know that you can yawn until the sides of your mouth hurts?)

if anyone wants to do online shopping should patronise 7dans! they're super efficient! haha. ordered twice from them already and am still a very happpy shopper =)

Presentation on tues 28th and thursday 30th oct (our group hasn't started on ANYTHING for the presentation cum report on the 30th ~ dead~)

1 report due on 11 nov, another due on 17 nov.

SOMEBODY SHOULD JUST KICK ME! I just finished 2 eps of 少年四大名捕 just now! How can be slacking so much when there is so much more other work to do?!!

I was just watching this show when I suddenly felt that I could understand what one of the characters is feeling. maybe because I have been in similair situations before. Sometimes one small minor thing that seems so insignificant can actually snowball into something big. sometimes one small little action that we do can actually escalate into soemthing much bigger, something that we didn't expect. and I am all too familar with such feelings. Sometimes I do wonder how soemthing that initially seemed unimportant could snowball into something bigger while I wasn't paying attention. It's like -hey what happened?! you just didn't have the time to react. and you didn't even expect it to snowball in the first place. It happens to me a lot of times. hahha fortunately nothing like this has happened recently. LOLX but it does make me wonder if it's the way I judge things or if it is just pure fate?? lolx

ok. back to my books! haha

ps. should I pon my msw lecture tomorrow???? anyway I won't really be listening even if i'm there. haha. and the funny thing is. I have been feelingo pretty sleepy the whole day today. and now I CAN'T sleep! what is wrong with me?! arghh 2 project meetings and 2 lectures tomorrow. hope that the lectures will get more and more interesting with each lecture! hahaha

and there is bad news for my msw exam! I heard from one of my friends that the teachers just submitted teh exam papers to the department and that they're worried as to whether we will be fail the papers! omg..... *bangs wall* hahha. but i guess if the whole cohort fails together it wouldn't be taht bad because of the bell curve thingy. haha keeping my fingers crossed !

pps. i dropped my laptop today!! shit! lucky it's still working fine. phew. and thank goodness for the case.and this is going to be teh FIRST and the LAST time!

what a scary picture. lols
went all the way back to school today to borrow books for my endless stream of projects/reports. totally maxed out my borrowing limit. and it wasn't fun carrying these 8 books back at all. but lucky for me it didn't rain. phew~

and once again, Lynette just wasted the whole day away. nearly 7pm and I haven even started on my projects! ARH! I know I'm going to regret it later when I need to burn the midnight oil and fight my closing eyelids.

going to clean up my room tonight and start on my projects tomorrow. arhhhhhhhhhhhh projects are burying me alive!! someone save me!!! hahah

ohya.. have been watching hannah montana these 2 days. it's a disney production so i really wasn't expecting much from it. kind of expected it to be too kiddy. i may not be a big fan but the show's really hilarious la!! ahahaha!!!

something really funny about my test today.

we had a mid term test during lecture today.

1). advice from the lecturer

"u'll have options which are both correct, but you have to choose the most appropriate one."

whole lecture hall groans

(mcq test by the way)

2). we were filling up this bubble form used for mcq.

lecturer: " for module code, fill in sw3209, for contact no, fill in your contact no, so that i can contact u in case there is anything wrong, and for teh remarks section fill in GOD HELP ME" wahhaha!

the whole class burst out in laughter! whahha and yixian this funny person actually really wrote "god help me" in the blank. whahaha

3). someone asked how long is the test

lecturer: "hmm.. until nearly everyone is done with the test. i'll look and observe. if nearly everyone is done we will stop. i'll ask your if your are finished later also."

what !?! i have never heard of a test with such flexible timing la! whahahha

omg lo. he is such a funny lecturer!

never had a test like that in my entire life! hahahha

I don't want to have the mid term test on tues

arhhhhh noooooooooooonooooooooooooooooooooo

I guess I need to do well for this module seeing that I didn't do well for friday's test for another module.

I just realised that my camera is not as lousy as I think it is =) :D which means I didn't waste my money and I don't have to regret not getting the cannon 80 ixus instead. weheeeee !!! but i just have to figure out how to use it properly and that will take some time for me. aiyo. dear camera, why are u so hard to understand??? LOLs

ok.. I kinda have a half-presentation tomorrow. it's a half presentation becuase I'm not going to be exactly presenting slides in front of the class, but I will be doing some facilitating and all that la.. aiyoo. after teh scary module taht I took last sem where I had a full 20 mins to myself (that nice one bit!) I gather that I would have mastered enough courage to take on any kind of presentation. but.. sadly, no. hahaha crapping is one thing, and presenting is another. oh.. did I mention that the tutor gave me a big C for that palm sweating scary presentation last sem?

so if u have oily scalp and dry hair DO NOT ever use shampoo for dry/brittle hair for your scalp. DANGEROUS.

seriously, I have not studied so hard for a very long time already.

Ps. I had already firmly decided to skip today morning's lecture which is why I am blogging away at this oh my godly early hours of the day. But in the end, I didn't even have to pon lecture to be here.

ok.. I admit. I rarely check the IVLE (electronic platform for all info about our modules) announcements! but I will start checking regularly from now on! regularly = vague terms huh.. shows that i'm not very ready to honour my word. haha. okok.. once every 2 days!
