SSTI seminar regarding caregiving issues for the elderly. It was probably only after the elderly module taht I'm taking now that I've come to realize how many deeply embedded issues there are in the field of working with the elders. And how much of a lack there are in terms of services or help there are that could help our elderly population. It may an interesting field to work in. But yet depressing? I have not worked with the elder population primarily bcux of the language barrier. But yet, this module seems to be giving me 2nd thoughts about working with the elderly. It's actually quite an intersting topic u know! haha

it seems that many things have been going on with what I would call in a social workish way the systems aka people around me. People and things change. sometimes for the best and sometimes i wouldn't say for the worse but for in a way some of us cannot seem to understand/accept. when things change, all we're left with is a stack of memories which visiting is may send tears to your eyes or a wrenching hurt in your heart. or even a sense of pity that things would never be like they once were or on the brighter side a sense of relieve that things have improved or bcux there were at least the happy times there. because life is so dynamic, shouldn't we treasure every moment spent with everyone and make it the best ever because we know that we may never get to do the same thins again.
Hence... more meetups !

okay i skipped tuition today. yes again. so i'm poorer by $40 bucks again. arghhhh but was super tired la..
ok.. i made a new discovery this sem. actually our readings aren't that boring afterall if they actually mean something to me! haha. i guess attachment really showed me how what I learnt in the boring old dinosaur aged textbooks could be applied in real life situations. and how even theories that are use for a certain group of people could be applied to another which answers most my UN-understanding of why I have to study so much 'crap' when I probably aint going to be involved in that certain type of work.
ps. I am having multiple pimple outbreak! arhhhh

on a heavier note, DEADlines seem to be pushing nearer and nearer, and I find myself stuck in this vicious cycle of work, thoughts and play.

there are things I know I should be doing and i'm trying hard at it. damn difficult.. but i guess i'll never grow if i don't.
but whatever the case, my mindset has took on a 180 degree turn including my perspective of life I guess. and this scares me because I no longer know what I want.

i'm sleepy & tired ... but i just can't go back to sleep....
school is getting more and more hectic. just getting started on the 2 major projects and i just knew that there is a malay test next week! and my name got called during lecture today. major heart attack. LOLX
and i forgot to print the readings in sch. arhhh
had society meeting too which ended up in me realising that the midnight surcharge is actually 50%! faint
busy busy busy, even amist all the madness some things remain stuck there and leave you pondering even when you don't want to.
anyway! had a great time at tong's party! tong was v pretty that day wor! shall upload the pics later. wooo
ps. milk in restuarant city is super expensive. 4900 RC money. faint
