FOOD FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD! ! ! (not all is here la.. haha)
was watching the jap drama "code blue" just now..
saw 2 very contradicting scenes that stayed very vivdly in my mind.
1st was this 21 yeat old guy that knocked his head and then was paralysed neck down.
another was a husband who nearly died in a major car accident but was later saved but half paralysed.
the very big contrast i saw was when the doctor broke the news to the family.
for the 21 year old boy, the family cried like nobody's business.
for the husband's case the wife only shed tears of joy because at least he was alived regardless of what he had becomed...
it somehow seems to be two ends of the world. it's like you don't know whether to be thankful for being alive or be sad.
"I never knew a day could last so long when u're staring at the ceiling or that time could pass so slowly, now i cannot even wipe my own tears" ==> what the patient inside said. this just stays in my mind. heartbreaking to hear things like that right.. and you start to wonder whether death would be an easier way out for the person.but then again you can't help but empathise and agree with the wife who just desperately wanted her husband back even if he were to be paralysed.
ps. i didn't get drunk during the wedding! no hangover, nothing! i guess it helps when u take super small mouthfuls and lots of chinese tea in between mouthfuls? hahah

ktv session with project mates on thurs! going to safra's ktv thing in toa payoh. the one in hougang wasn't very good. hope that it'll be better in toa payoh! haha
