the 4 of us.... and here comes the re-enactment of the popular Hong Kong TVB drama series 宫心计之童莲子

In 2000 Bc during the Li dynasty, there lived a suppressed king (xinni) who had been sent to the temple by the previous Huang dynasty (Jojo ) emperor to live out his life there because he was seen as a threat to the Huang dynasty. In order to stay aluve, the suppressed Li king had to act as though he was mentally disabled. To make his act even more convincing he pretended to talk to his tortoise every day. He started off hating his tortoise very much, but as we all know 日久生情，he began to fall in love with his tortoise. He even named the tortoise 童莲子. From young, he had also been separated from his mummy (ying). 10 years (about there la.. can't rmb wahahha) after being sent away to the temple, he was allowed back to the 宫 because his mummy was down with a serious illness. But shortly after his return, his mother recovers and this is where the 心计starts......

the Huang emperor threatening to throw 童莲子 away. The yet-to be Li emperor trying to save his 童莲子, with his mummy trying to stop him beside..

the mission of rescue continues... an imperial guard jumps in to stop the fight for 童莲子, while the Huang emperor runs off because he doesn't want to get dirty and he was interested in the newly-introduced western technology some ang mo had brought as a tribute named the camera.

because the producers of 宫心计之童莲子 are slightly poorer, excuse me, i meant much poorer than their counterparts - the tvb producers, a decision was made to change the script because there wasn't enough money to built a tortoise look-a-like tombstone as promise to the audience via the 宫心计之童莲子 fan club built on facebook.

so the Li emperor successfully gets back her 童莲子 and looks happily at her it.

1 more day to the end of exams! 1 more days of studying like theres's no tml and i can play like there's no tml! weeeeeeheeeeeeee!

have been thinking about career related issues these few days.. the only 2 conditions i want in a job are

1). a reasonable pay for that of a degree holder

2). a job that means something more other than the money. be it a social work of non social work career, it should be one that i don't sacrifice my mornings for solely the sake of the pay check that adds to my account balance once a month. i dread a life where i have to drag myself to work 5 days a week, 4 weeks a month and 12 months a year every morning just for the sake of the big S.

i haven even decided if i'm going for the grad ceremony next year.
