I'm very very happy with my results this sem! =DDD the happiest was knowing that i could do it!
the only regret? i should really bang my head against the wall for not working hard from sem 1 onwards.
but no use crying over spilt milk! and i can't say i have not enjoyed the days i spent slacking over the first 4 sems in NUS. opportunity cost, and limited resources!
i didn;t do as well as expected for welfare econs. but nevertheless, i still love welfare econs!
ps. i'm doing better for my sociology modules than my SW modules. someone remind me again what i'm majoring in???
back to the expectations topic.
even when expectations are ironed out, even when people come to understand the differences between expectations, things don't just end there. instead what comes after that? who gives in and who doesn't? who changes and who doesn't? how do we reconcile these changes we have to make with our initial expectations? things wouldn't work out if both parties refuse to budge, but neither would the ending be the whole happy-ever-after ending if one gives in, yet isn't all too happy or satisfied about it?
understanding each other's expectations is the start of all problems, or only the tip of the iceberg, definitely not the end.
haix. life is complicated.
i love sushi!
